Draftmix.com Leader Board
Ever since we've started running daily tournaments, our customers have been trash talking each other about who is the best fantasy sports player on our site. Now to help you settle those disputes, we're introducing the Draftmix Leader Board.
As you play in real money leagues (including freerolls, which count as a $0 buyin) on our site, you'll earn Leader Board Points (LBP) each time you finish in the top 20% (rounded up) of the field. The formula for LBP is as follows:
LBP = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(p)] * [1 + log(b + 0.25)]
Where:
n is the number of players in the league
p is the place of the finish (p=1 for 1st place, p=2 for 2nd, etc.)
b is the buyin amount of the league in dollars.
Example:
A player wins a $10 tournament with 10 players.
n = 10, p = 1, b = 10
Total LBP awarded are:
= 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(p)] * [1+log(b+0.25)]
= 10 * [sqrt(10)/sqrt(1)] * [1+log(10+0.25)]
= 10 * 3.162 * 2.01
= 63.58 LBP
