About Draftmix
What is Draftmix.com?
Draftmix.com is a new way to play fantasy sports. We believe that the most fun part of the fantasy sports experience is the draft, so we allow you to easily enter one and start a new league at any time.
Why is Draftmix.com better?
Draftmix.com is better than other fantasy sports sites for three main reasons. For one, we have immediate seating in many different types of drafts. On our site you don't waste time scheduling. Just show up when you want to play and there will be a game waiting for you.
We also have much shorter season lengths than typical fantasy sports sites, so you don't have to wait months to win. Our leagues run for as little as a day, and often less than a week.
And finally, we have contests with real money prizes. On most sites you'll get nothing but a t-shirt for your troubles. Play on our site and you can walk away with cold hard cash.
Seasons
What does immediate seating mean?
On other fantasy sports sites, you have to schedule a time to play. Not on Draftmix. On our site, you can draft a team at any time in our live draft lobby. Simply click on the "Sit and Go" tab in the lobby to find a list of drafts waiting to begin. Every Sit and Go league starts as soon as enough people want to play, so take your pick, click "Join League", and wait for it to fill up.
How long do the fantasy leagues run?
At Draftmix, we offer shorter season lengths so you can play a lot or a little depending on your schedule. On most fantasy sports sites, a two week vacation means two weeks of losses. Not on ours. At Draftmix, some of our leagues are even over in a day, sparing you the weeks of the involuntary time commitment required to be competitive at other sites. Here you play only when you want to.
When do the leagues run?
Because we offer leagues with shorter durations, we can offer them all throughout a sport's season. So while most of our competitors stop running fantasy football drafts in September, we can start new leagues all the way into the playoffs.

Can I win prizes?
Of course, that's what we're all about! Draftmix offers leagues with real money buy-ins and real money prizes.
How much can I win?
The amount you can win on Draftmix is based upon the entry fee of the league you join, so that's entirely up to you. Play for as much or as little as you like, whenever you like.
Is playing fantasy sports for money legal?
The Federal Government recognizes fantasy sports as a game of skill. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 specifically excludes fantasy sports from the list of activities considered gambling.
Different states, however, have different laws pertaining to contests of skill on the internet. Due to those laws, we regrettably cannot allow customers from the following states to play in leagues with cash prizes (though they may still play in play money leagues):
Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Tennessee, and Vermont.
Should the legal situation in any of those states change for the better, we will open them up immediately.
Is this site legit?
Unlike online casinos and sports books, which are illegal in the U.S. and based overseas, Draftmix.com is an American company, incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in California. We take great pains (and pay lawyers lots of money) to comply with all state and local laws.
How do I buy into a league?
You buy into a league from your Draftmix account. To play in any league, you must already have the requisite entry amount in your Draftmix account.
How do I add money to my Draftmix account?
Simply visit our cashier. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept PayPal, for those who prefer an alternative funding method.
How do I cash out my winnings?
This is also done in the cashier. Any money cashed out will first be refunded to credit cards used to buy in. Once all credit card deposits are fully refunded, you will be given a choice of receiving the remainder either by check or by PayPal.
I just want to check out your site. Can I play for free?
Yes, we have free play money leagues. We encourage you to use them as practice.
Can I win prizes in free games?
Yes. We occasionally offer leagues called freerolls that are free to enter and have cash prizes. These can be found in the lobby by clicking on the "Freeroll" tab.
How old do I have to be to play at Draftmix?
You must be 18 years of age. For more information, please see our rules page.

What sports do you offer?
We currently offer football and baseball, during their seasons. We are working on basketball and hope to have that ready soon. Keep checking our lobby, as we plan on adding many sports over the next year.

It looks like I tied but I didnt recieve a prize what happened?
Draftmix uses 12 decimal places when calculating total scores, but only display 2 decimal places on a league page. It is likely you lost by a fraction of a point.
